Well now, it’s Model Home Preview time! That’s right, the four, newly completed Showcase of Homes models will be ready…and waiting…for Y.O.U!

We’re excited to introduce you to the four fantastic builders who made these homes a reality: Crane Building Company, Hagood Homes, Kent Homes and Geoff Weatherwax Construction.

Long Time, No Talk…
Hello — it’s been a while! We hope you’re well. We are doing just fine, thank you. Summer is here and things are heating up as we move forward with party planning for the big Share St. James Bash in October.
Are you coming? Man, we hope you are — it’s going to be a blast.

A Fiesta? ‘Ole!
One of the houses could have a theme developing...
Happy Cinco de Mayo! All this fun talk of fiestas and margarita-making (yes, please) got me thinking…wouldn’t the flavors and sizzle of May 5th be a GREAT theme for one of the houses for the PARTY OF THE YEAR?! Mariachi bands, the Mambo, guacamole and other tasty things, margaritas (already mentioned but deserving of another shout-0ut) and the Macarena (seriously, just kidding.)
Hummm, I think we may have a theme here….’ole!
The Sound of Progress…

Put your ear up to the screen. Come on, just do it. We won’t laugh (hard.) Do you hear it? That sound…off in the distance? It sounds like progress, doesn’t it? We’ll, you’re right. And it sounds quite lovely, actually. Woodlands Park’s Showcase of Homes — the site of this year’s PARTY OF THE YEAR (P.O.T.Y.) - has translated the sound of progress into buzzing saws, popping nail guns and driving hammers. And, wow, are those four houses really making progress or what?! We snapped a few shots this morning for your viewing enjoyment.And of course, if you’d like to be on the official guest list (150 strong and growing every day) for the P.O.T.Y. (does anyone else think that’s funny?!) then get a move on, cause there’s still time to dust off those dancin’ shoes!
Rock On Earth Day!
Wow! If you missed the 3rd Annual Earth Day concert out at Woodlands Park, you missed a great party. Fantastic weather, great friends and tons of rockin’ music by The Radio Flyer Band! Let me tell you, this band is quickly becoming a St. James favorite. The lead singer, Pam Watkins, sounds JUST like Fleetwood Mac’s beloved Stevie Nicks.
If you missed them last week, there’s still hope for you (hopefully?!) Make plans NOW to attend the Memorial Day Beer and Shrimp Festival (what’s not to love about this combo?!) at Tommy Thompson’s. On Sunday, May 30th, $25 buckaroos will get you 6 different beers, all the shrimp (chicken and sides) you can muster, and the option to dance your tail off to The Radio Flyers!
